Custom Stamp Designer - Instructions and FAQ
Entering Text

Enter the text that you wish to appear on your stamp into the textboxes provided. Then click Update Stamp to update your stamp preview. Please note that the maximum number of text lines you can enter depends on the size of the stamp you have chosen. If you need additional lines of text you will need to select a larger stamp.

Q: How do I enter a blank or empty line of text?
A: Put a space on the line you wish to be blank.  This will indicate that you wish this line to be empty.

Modifying Font Properties

Font properties allow you to change the appearance of the font used on your stamp and are applied to the "selected lines of text" (See below: Selecting Individual Lines of Text). Font properties include:
  • Style - Select font style from drop down list to be applied to selected lines of text. Available styles are Arial, Georgia, Lucida Console and Comic Sans MS.
  • Size - Changes the font size of the selected lines of text ( - option described below).
  • Style - These options allow you to apply a combination of Bold, Italic, and Underline styles to your font.

Selecting Individual lines of text

1) Enter text and update the stamp preview.
   
2) Click the line you wish to modify on the Stamp Preview.
   
3) Now you may modify the font properties for the selected line.
   


4) When you are finished, click the Update Stamp button.

AutoSize

This option automatically makes your font as large as possible for the chosen stamp.  This option is recommended and enabled by default.  To disable this option, uncheck the   checkbox.  Once disabled you will be able to modify the font size of each individual line.  If you wish to have to have different font sizes for different lines of text you will need to disable this option and set your own font sizes.

Is the "Stamp Preview" the actual size of the stamp? 
 
The "Stamp Preview" is only an approximation of the actual size of the stamp. The "Stamp Preview" is dependant on both the screen resolution of your computer and the size of your monitor.

A higher resolution means that more pixels are displayed on your screen. This means that the pixels are smaller, and the "Stamp Preview" may appear smaller than expected, and vice versa. Given two monitors with the same resolution, the "Stamp Preview's" size will be proportional to how large your monitor is.

The "Stamp Preview" attempts to generalize these differences to provide the best estimate of how your custom stamp will look when actually stamped. When the stamp is created, these differences are not a factor, and your stamp will be made to precisely the size as advertised.

How To Re-ink Your Pre-Inked Stamp
All stamps purchased at aplusdiscountstamps.com can be re-inked to extend the life of your stamp. To ensure the longevity of your stamp, always use "MaxLight" ink (for all stamps purchased at aplusdiscountstamps.com, including PSI stamps). Stamps use an oil based ink and using other ink may damage the stamp.   1. Pull handle off stamp.
  2. Place a few drops of ink in both of the large holes. Push handle back on self-inker.
  3. Let sit overnight.

Repeat if necessary.

General Policy:

A Plus Discount Stamps ships ONLY to locations in the United States.  All packages are shipped via USPS First-class or Priority mail.  All orders, regardless of how many stamps are ordered, ship for only $1.00! 

Q: How long does it typically take to receive my order?
A: Orders usually ship within 24 hours. Once shipped please allow 3-5 days for delivery.

Q: Do you ship to Military (APO/FPO) addresses?
A: Yes, these are considered U.S addresses and we ship to them as well for the same $1.00 shipping fee. Please note that the ship time varies by location and conditions. Please allow plenty of time for your package to be delivered.
